Hey guys,
So a fellow friend had a birthday about a month ago and I tottaly forgot to post any pictures (for some reason I am the only one who remebers to take pictures after a couple of cocktails). So this post is really for the Ami-machi crew, but you can see it too. Hey, if you have a couple long island ice teas you could feel like you were partying with us. So belly up to the bar, we are off to the HUB!
So we loaded up on the train and headed into Kashiwa (midpoint between Ami and Tokyo). The HUB is a guijin friendly establishment with one hell of a happy hour. We stuffed ourselves on fish and chips (house specialty) and guzzled gallons of booze. Even Mr. Butters (birthday boy) can't resist the sweet taste of this long island ice tea MMMMmmmmm. The HUB serves a wide variety of foriegn and domestic drinks... including Absinth (I don't recomend drink more than three of these, unless you really enjoy hallucinating). Eventually we were drunk enough to head down the street to a hole in the wall karaoke joint.
Kevin REALLY seems to like this song. Hedwig herself/himself (shit... what are you supposed to call a transvestite) couldn't have sung it better. Please don't ask if he was really humping the TV. Needless to say... Kevin really likes singing karaoke.
Chris and I love karaoke soooo much we don't even need microphones to sing to each other. Hey who stole all the microphones?
Nevermind.
So of course, since we were riding the train, some of us picked up a few drinks for the ride home. And as usual, the loud, drunk and happy party scared away all the wearry workers from Tokyo. So we had a car pretty much to ourselves.
I hope Mr. and Mrs. Butters had a good time. Birthdays are the best. If you are ever in Kashiwa, stop by the HUB and have yourself a good time. Also... if you are looking to hook up with a japanese girl, they hang out there waiting to pick up on guijin men. See ya later.
