kyoto: damn, is it cold!

today my friend katie and i took a self guided tour of the famed city. we saw peaceful rock gardens, golden pavillions and temples a plenty, all via our rented bicycles. we were the only crazy foriegners on bikes. it was freakn' freezing! however... the sun was out and we spent the day being kissed by snowflakes. i now understand why so many japanese people take their honeymoon here, kyoto is very romantic. i only wish i had a special someome to share it with. maybe next time. till then... xoxo
