Disneyland in a monsoon

Christmas was a quiet holiday around here. My recently made husband and I went to Tressa's house to partake in a little Christmas Eve Cheer. Chicken, instant mashed potatoes, karaoke and a lotta whiskey later we were ringing in Christmas while singing our drunken hearts out at Ban Ban (the local karaoke box walking distance from Tressa's house).

After resting on Christmas day we(Tressa, Juan, Lumberjack aka Matt and I) had decided to go to Disneyland because we thought it would be empty since most people in Japan still had to go to work for several more days. Well... we were right about it being empty. The rain started before we woke up and steadily continued to get worse as the day progressed. In the morning we were all bundled up in hats, gloves and scarfs and by the end of the day (even though we had purchased parkas, umbrellas and many cups of hot cocoa throughout the day) we were completely soaked to the bone. We even had to strip off our clothes in the parking lot just so we could warm up on the way home. We may have froze our butts off all day, but we were still able to go on every ride in the park several times over... even the ones that usually have a 3 hour waiting time. So even though there was Bad Weather good times were still had.
