chocolate

Well it's Wednesday and most of the snow has melted (but as I look outside I think it's starting to snow a little hmmmmm?? Maybe I should bring the laundry in???) Anywhoo... Valentine's Day is just right around the corner and if you live in Japan and are of the female sex it's important to buy chocolate and a lot of it. Not only are women expected to give a nice box of sweets to their special man but they are also expected to give obligatory chocolate to every other man in her life including brothers, co-workers or fellow classmates. But when men receive dozens of boxes of chocolates how do you set yourself apart from the average truffles, nuts or caramel selections???

Perchance a little cute animal will set you apart. Any animal you can think of (minus a wombat) can be found in forms of dark and light chocolate. KAWAII!

Or instead of the regular Baileys, Cointreau or whiskey filled candy you could opt for a box of sake soaked sweets for your boss this year.

Or maybe for the macho man in your life you could get a set of manly dark chocolate tools.
YUMMY!
