As we (Juan, Misa-chan and I) continue our endless search for a decent Mexican restaurant in Tokyo... our friend Misa took us to a place in Harajuku which boasts as being the oldest Mexican restaurant in the city. Unfortunately, the restaurant looked better than the food.
If you know anything about Japanese cuisine... you know that they take the best of any international food and then take out all the flavor and seasonings (Except Korean, which is the only exception to the rule). That is exactly what this place was like. The food was flavorless, bland and all around not great. Oh... and adding a spoonful of corn to a plate does not make it Tex-Mex!! But the atmosphere was nice and the drinks were strong. Thanks Misa for hanging out with us again... but next time... lets try some Japanese or Korean food.
