The VIKING Lunch! rape and pillage!

Today is the last official school day of 2005! Tomorrow is the Emperor's Birthday and the rest is winter holiday until the second week of January. Lunch was extra special today because I was able to attend the viking.
A Viking is like a buffet. I asked why they calling it a viking and the only semi answer I could get was because the Vikings were said to be pirate like and when they would attack villages they would pick and choose what they wanted to keep. (Just like the Catholics! HAHAHAHHAHA) Henceforth... the viking meal! Which I think is funny because they call it a viking way the hell over in Japan!
This was a special meal just for sixthgrade students and certian members of the administration! I was totally lucky to snag an honorery spot at one of the head tables. What was there to eat? FOOD. Hmmmm. Let me think...
There was american dogs(corn dogs) bacon raped hot dogs, severl types of salad, chicken wings, rice, crab augratin, shrimp, milk, chinese crab and egg soup, rolls, spagetti and christmas cake for dessert. Yummy!!!
So thus ends my first viking. I am sorry to say that this is my last entry for a short while. I still don't have capable internet access at home and the library will be closed for the holiday. I will try to blog again when I can! I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas! If you are not doing anything you should come over to my house for some so-chu and christmas cake! MMMMMMM christmas cake (traditional japanese thing to eat on december 25th).
Lots of love,
Jody D.
