about a boy

First of all... How the hell are you? I trust your life is going along swimmingly. If not, I suggest changing your speedo. (EWWWWW visions of hairy european men in speedos are stuck in my head).

What is up with me?
WORK: I am currently renewing my contract/looking for another job. Since I still have not signed my contract (nor has anyone been waving one in my face) I have been spending my spare minutes looking for another job. No word on which way life will be leading me in April, but hopefully it will lead me down the path of more money!

Health: Will this constant cold ever end? I take vitamins. I eat well. I get plenty of sleep. But I just can't shake it! AAAAARRRRRGGGGHHH!!!!!! wait a sec.... I gotta go blow my nose again.

Fashion: I have torn through my last pair of pantyhose and have now started sporting the japanese summer fashion of wearing black knee length stockings with designs on them. As soon as it starts to warm up (in like 3-4 months) I will stop wearing ridiculous socks and start going au naturale.

Litterature: I am currently reading two books. Elle by Douglas Glover and The House of Spirits by Isabel Allende. The cover of Allende's book is reminisant of a cheesy sex novel. However, after 150 pages, no seedy sex scenes have occured. But Elle is full of steamy wilderness sex scenes as well as adding historical bits about the colonization of Canada. Together, they create the perfect balance of reading material I need this week.

OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK!
LOVE LIFE: My romatic intrests have been dwindling ever since I told French-canadian boy to take a hike. However, I have possesed a crush every now and again. Anyways.... contrary to the popular belief by certain family members, friends and religous organizations. I like boys and in particular.... I like a certain boy! No names will be given, or specifics about hair color, height, reading ability or favorite singers. But, I like him. When he makes eye contact heart goes pittter-patter and when he smiles I go weak in the knees. Yes people.... I have a crush! Actual chances of having a date with said crush? Not to bad... and recently better than before! (listen... if you want more details you are going to have to inquire personally)

Listen up people.... I goota run. I have a meeting that I am 3 minutes late for.
All my love on this cold Febuary day!

Hey Jody!

It's nice to know that you're doing OK despite the cold...I got your postcard early this week...I LOVE THE FUNKY CATS...THANK YOU!!! Also, a note on "The House of Spirits," good story about the impact of Pinochet's military coup in Chile...my grandma lived through it (so I've heard a different kind of story). Today Isabel Allende was one of the women bearing the Olympic flag at the opening ceremonies...just a thought.

Can't wait to read about more adventures =)
