The Oscars!

Now, as you may or may not be aware of... I am a tad bit removed from American cinema culture and Hollywood tabliods (and by a tad bit... I meen a lot). However, this has not discuraged me in the least from giving my opinion of the Oscars. Eventhough I have not seen one single movie being nominated... I still feel it is my duty to give my opinion on the only topic I can. FASHION! And since I have not read anyone elses opion on the topic... I am going to relate my feelings souly based upon pictures I have come across this morning. If you don't like, or agree with my thoughts... then you can go feck off!

BEST DEPICTION OF A STARVING ACTRESS:

PLEASE feed me! If I don't eat something soon... I will have to take in this dress I borrowed off of my daughter's Barbie Doll!

Is is just me... or does Nicole look like Lindsey Lohan (god, I can't stand that girl)?

Best Dressed Couple:
It was a tie this year... I couldn't decide who looks better and everyone looks fantastic!
I don't know why Will N Jada were at the awards... my only guess was that they wanted to show everyone how to Get Jiggy With It (or possibly... they were presenting or nominated for something... I have no clue, nor do I care... FAB!)!

Worst use of Accesories:
J-Lo Honey... no matter what you choosee to wear upon the red carpet ... if you bring along that goofy ass, ugly looking ricco suave of a husband of yours no one is going to invite you anywhere!

PS Love the dress... but somehow it makes me hungry for split pea soup.

Actress who looked as if she was on an 80's Soap Opera

The hair reminds me of Dallas. The Big bow is from Days of our Lives.
The entire ensemble looks like a cross between a Picasso and a Duchamp's Nude decending a Staircase.

Best Dressed person with 2 X cromosones

I have to say that both the Wills were looking great Oscar night. Usually, I would not comment on what most men are wearing... come on... can you really mess up a Tuxedo? (this statement will never inlude Tim Burton)

Didn't your Mother ever tell you to stand up Straight???!!!

I Don't know what it is about Kiera... I just don't like her. Sue Me!

DAMN!!!

I don't even know where to start! Therefore... I have decided to let the picture speak for itself and I think it has a lot to say... maybe you should put some earplugs on because it seems to be talking pretty loud.

I have to admit... that I thought Michelle looked very elegant... eventhough she is wearing that chinese mustard sort of color. The fit is flattering, the cut is great and you usually can't go wrong with a short, wispy train.
Now, only if I could get that damn Dawson's Creek theme song out of my head...
" I don't wanna wait for my life to be over..."
I hate that song.

Best Dressed Actor to be Nominated this Year

Reece... She looked Amazing!!! I am glad she didn't go super sexy glam. She personifies this cute, peppy, fun girl and her ensemble fit her to a T. From the silver beading to the floor length gown. This dress is a winner... and from this picture...so is Reece!

Best Dressed Over All!!!
SELMA + Verscace = SUPER HOT!
I definatley wouldn't throw her out of bed for eating cookies!
Well... Thus ends my review of the 78th Annual Academy Awards. I would like to thank yahoo and google for providing me with a massive amounts of red carpet photos. I would also like to take time to thank my schools for giving me so little to do during the last 2 weeks of classes. I couldn't possible end without thanking all of those of you out there who send me fashion magazines and above all I thank the Goddess for everything.
Till next year...
This has been Jody D. White
Thank You and Konichiwa Bitches
