The other day I came across an article about Japan's first registered foreign Geisha. She is originally from Australia and is now living and working in Asakusa, Tokyo's last remaining Geisha district. Sayuki debuted last January and is hoping that by documenting her experiences it can bring light the truth behind the flower and willow world of the geisha.
