Presents

Greetings to all,

Since it is the gift giving season... lots of people have been asking what Juan and I want or have need of. In actuality, we don't really need anything. If we get any more crap in this tiny apartment we won't have any place to sleep! But having said that, there are some items that we would like but just can't get in Japan.
  • American Toothpaste (there is no fluoride in Japanese toothpaste): we like the whitening ones
  • Antiperspirant/Deodorant (they only have spray on Ban here and it sucks): We found that Degree works fine for both of us
  • Fluffy Slippers W size 10, M size 13 (wood floors are cold on our big western feet)
  • Cream of Tartar (I have looked everywhere for this simple ingredient)
  • American Candy: Reeces Peanut Butter Cups and Whatchamacallit (We can get Hershey's at Costco and Kit kat's and snickers at the 7-11, but that is about it)
  • Cake mix plus frosting (My favorite is yellow cake with chocolate frosting)
  • Boxes of Jello and Pudding mixes
That's about all I can think of. We would like books, magazines and movies, but there is just no room in our tiny Tokyo apartment. Again, we really don't need anything. A nice Christmas card, a phone call or an e-mail would be great. If you need our e-mail, address or US skype phone number please don't hesitate to ask.
Happy Holidays!
J n J
