The job hunt is over!!!

I got myself a job!!! YEAH!!! After an extensive search, I have obtained a job in Tokyo!!!

This past Saturday I had two job interviews, and by Saturday night I had two fantastic offers from the companies. Unfortunately I was not able to accept my favorite of the two jobs because they are not able to give visa extensions (which I really need because my visa expires in 4 weeks!). So my second employment choice will have to do. The pay is fantastic and the hours are good. I will be working in a jyuku (a Japanese cram school) and teaching small group lessons from the age of 4- 104. I will be working 6 hours a day, 5 days a week. I will be having Sundays and Mondays off starting in April, which means I could actually get some errands done before all the stores close.

The school is located on the Chuo-line (for those who know Tokyo) and is about 4 stops west of Shinjuku. The school is less than a two minute walk from the train station, which will be great on those rainy summer days.

I am so excited to be moving and starting anew. Now all we have to do is find an apartment!
